Birthday at the beach

The weather was beautiful, the shells plentiful, and the seafood delicious. What a great way to spend my 26th birthday. We watched a lot of college basketball throughout the weekend, went on several walks down the beach, and on Saturday, we hit the new NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Periwinkle Cottage at Emerald Isle is the best place in the world to go to rejuvenate and take a break. Sunday came entirely too quickly.
